It has a pitch resistor which you can remove (cut off in my case) and replace with a pot. The other cool thing is that when you replace the play button with a toggle, the sampler loops until you switch it off. It was available last year during the holidays from wal-mart for $5.00, and sometimes it can be found on ebay.
